The Bruce Grove bridge wall mosaic

The artwork celebrates the stories, places, people and rich history of Bruce Grove by having them all represented in an ideological map of the area where past and present overlap. It emphasises Bruce Grove’s diversity and its role as a junction and meeting point for different areas of Tottenham.

The artwork is a 6m x 3m glass tiled mosaic mounted to the wall underneath the Bruce Grove railway bridge.

The artwork was commissioned by Haringey Council and led by Office S&M. We worked collaboratively with over 300 residents, businesses and local community groups throughout the course of the project. The mosaic was built by The Mosaic Studio at their workshop in Southend.

Pride in Bruce Grove is part of a broader programme by Haringey Council to celebrate the identity of Bruce Grove and improve it as a place to live, work, shop and visit.
